I-Create: Home

We are thrilled to announce I-Create as the new library MakerSpace name.

What is a MakerSpace?

Essentially it is a creative hub for students, faculty and staff. A space where everyone can come and work on anything, from personal objects to school projects. A collaborative place where we would like to encourage people to come together from different disciplines to work in partnership on projects.

Think of the space as an area of innovation, creativity and collaboration where you can create anything.

Your only limits are your imagination.

What will be in the I-Create Lab?

We plan to have all kinds of technology such as:

  • Laser Engraver
  • Large Format Printer/Vinyl Cutter
  • 3D printers
  • Sewing and Embroidery Machines
  • Raspberry Pi and Arduinos
  • Video Recording Equipment
  • Video, Audio and Photo Editing Software
  • Soldering Station
  • Virtual Reality Stations
  • CNC Router
  • and much more!

When will the I-Create Lab open?

We are currently undergoing remodeling of the space, and we ask for your patience and understanding while we undergo the construction.  At the completion of our remodeling we hope to present to you an inviting and motivating space for invention and we hope that you partake in all the I-Create Lab will have to offer.  The target opening date will be January 2019.
