A-Z Databases

The online journals, e-books, and databases subscribed to by the Mary and Jeff Bell Library are governed by license agreements that stipulate how and by whom they may be used. Intellectual Property and other rights are generally reserved for the publisher or copyright owner and are not transferred to the Library or the end-user. Use is generally limited to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi; most may also be used by guest users while on campus.

Please abide by these guidelines when using electronic resources.

Standard terms of use generally permit:

• Making limited print or electronic copies (e.g., single articles) for personal, instructional, and/or research purposes (Fair Use)
• Posting links to the content
• Quoting, with proper citation

Without express permission from the publisher, standard terms of use strictly prohibit:

• Excessive printing, copying, or downloading of large portions of the material (e.g., an entire journal issue)
• The use of software such as scripts, agents, or robots to harvest information
• Using electronic resources for commercial purposes
• Posting articles, data, and other published content on open websites, or otherwise distributing the subscribed materials
• Modifying, altering, or creating derivative works
