Beginning Monday, June 8th: Curbside Pick Up Available

Do you need to pick up library materials and maintain social distance? We can help with that!

Call 361-825-2340 to request the book(s) via curbside.

We will need:

  • Book(s) information (We will allow curbside pick up for Circulating materials only – Main Collection titles, Popular Reading, etc. You can pick up Interlibrary Loan this way!)
  • Your name and A# or University ID
  • If someone else is coming to get your books, we’ll need their information
  • Let us know when you plan to arrive (Pick up is available Monday – Friday 9:30am-4pm)

When you get to campus, take the second entrance to the Curlew Parking Lot and wait in the inside corner by the Faculty Center and Bay Hall.

Once you arrive:

  • Call 361-825-2340
    • Let us know you’re here to pick up
    • Tell us your name and A#
    • Share the Make and Model and Color of the vehicle

We will then walk the item(s) out to the car and verify via SandDollar or Photo ID. Stay safe and healthy!

Access Resources Online!

Bell Library is closed to students, staff, faculty, and community members.

Access to all of the library’s digital resources will continue to be available 24/7

Online research support from the Ask Us Desk is available during the following times:

Mon.-Thurs. 8am - 8pm

Fri. 8am - 5pm

In addition, interlibrary loan of e-resources will continue.

Print Interlibrary Loan Suspended

Due to long delays and the unavailability of physical items during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are temporarily suspending Interlibrary Loan of print materials. Requests for E-Books and digital materials can still be made. If you need assistance finding additional sources, please contact our Ask Us Desk.
