Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year is required to hold an educational program about the U.S. Constitution for its students.  As a public institution, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi recognizes the constitutional rights and privileges of individual faculty, staff and students as well as campus visitors.

September 17th is Constitution Day, which commemorates the signing of the United States Constitution in 1787.

The Division of Student Engagement & Success, the Student Government Association (SGA), University Center Programs, the Mary and Jeff Bell Library, Island Waves, and the College of Liberal Arts will be hosting a variety of events to commemorate Constitution Day from September 14-18, 2020.
