Nursing Research Guide:Citing Your Sources

A research guide for students in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences

How to Cite Your Sources

Different disciplines require different citation styles.  Examples are APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian, etc.  APA from the American Psychological Association is the style you will use in Nursing.

Many online sources (including anything found the library's Quick Search) has a tool for finding the resource's citation. Look for buttons that either say "Cite," "Citation," or are just an icon of quotation marks (").
