HIST 1301 - Costanzo - Fall 2025

Library Website

On the website you can use the Quick Search, get help, find out library hours, and learn more about how to do research!

Quick Search

Quick Search is the search box on the library's home page. It searches all of the library's digital and physical collections (books, ebooks, scholarly journals, DVDs and streaming video, and more!

Tips for searching:

  • Use quotation marks around phrases. Examples: "american revolution" "new york city"
  • Play around with different keywords that reflect aspects of the character you've been assigned.
  • When looking for a specific book from your role sheet, use the title in quotation marks. Be careful with your spelling! Limit to book as format to remove book reviews.

JSTOR

If your Quick Search results are overwhelming, try searching JSTOR by itself.

  • All articles, book chapters, and books are available in full text.
  • All sources are considered academic / scholarly although not all are peer reviewed.
  • Just like with Quick Search, filters, citation help, and permalinks are available.
