Using Course Library in Canvas

If you want to use your Course Library again the next time you teach the course, follow these steps:

1. Copy your course over in Canvas. Course Library will still be in the navigation, but the Course Library content does not copy over to the new course.
2. Click on Course Library. You will see two options:
   1. Create a new list from scratch
   2. Create list from an existing list
3. To reuse the Course Library from a previous semester, choose "Create list from an existing list."
4. You will see a list of all of your reading lists. Choose the one you want and click "Duplicate list."
5. Rename it if you want to.
6. Make whatever tweaks are necessary.
7. When you are ready, click "Submit list."
   1. Don't forget to publish the list to your students!

If you have a Course Library you no longer need, you can delete it.

1. Click the list menu (three dots) and select Delete list.

2. A warning box will display that the list will be permanently deleted. Confirm that you want to delete the list by selecting Delete.
