While you are working on your Course Library, it is in Draft mode and only visible to you. Your students cannot see a list in Draft mode.
It is recommended that you view the Course Library as a student before publishing.
Open the List Menu (three dots) > View list as a student.
There is also a link to "View list as a student" next to the "Submit list" button.
When you are ready, you must submit your list and share it with your students. To submit, click the "Submit List" button in the upper right.
Submitting the list sends it to the library. If there are any items that we need to do something with (such as purchasing something or seeking copyright), we are notified at that time and can begin working on it.
When you submit the list, you may also choose to publish the list to your students (see screenshot below). Your students will be able to immediately see any items that do not require library assistance (items with copyright requirements, purchases, etc.).
If you do not publish to your students they will not be able to see the course library.
If you aren't ready to share the list with your students, feel free to leave the box unchecked. You can continue to edit the list until it is complete. When you want to make the list available, click "Submit list" again and check the box to publish to students.
The library will receive a notification when your list is submitted if there are items we need to help with, and we will address those as quickly as possible. We will communicate with you during the process as needed.
